The “HPline 26” Machining Centre is a milling machine 5-axis on the tool and commanded by a NC, consisting of a structure with Cartesian axes and a mobile crossbeam:
Structures formed with a alveolar pattern and whose size is based on the principles of FEM finite element analysis integrated with dynamic simulation
Motion is transmitted by Brushless motors coupled to precision gear reducers with pinions fastened onto them and running on hardened and ground precision racks with helical teeth.
The components slide on precision prismatic guides with pre-loaded recirculating ball runners.
Full digital package: SIEMENS highly dynamic Drives and Brushless Servomotors.
The brushless motors integrate the position data transmission system.
The structures are already prepared for the optional implementation of direct measurement systems with inductive linear encoders.
The crossbeam is motorised on both ends: the electrically synchronised two-axis movement system (Gantry system) allows for precision performance even at very high speed and acceleration.
Also for vertical axis "Z", motion is transmitted by a double drive unit. Both motors are fitted with a brake and each one transmits motion on a rack: one on the right and one on the left of the vertical arm.
This configuration with double pinion/gear reducer/motor provides improved electronic adjustment of the preload according to the different operating conditions applied, recovery of clearances thereby maintaining precision, and higher dynamic performance.
Perimeter protections:
The perimeter closure ensures maximum operator safety during the machine’s operating cycle. It consists of panels forming an integral part of the structure on the back and sides. At the front, there are 2 sliding doors with manual opening and large inspection windows.
Dust protections:
The runners have a double external protection consisting of special scrapers.
All the guides and transmissions of the linear axes are covered with bellows.

HS678 Head
Universal head with 2 rotating axes at right angles and simultaneously controlled.
Motion is transmitted by (Siemens) servo-assisted brushless motors allowing for programmable positioning in any point of the rotation.
Axes A and C are fitted with a pneumatic brake to lock the axes in a fixed position. This provides greater rigidity during machining that does not require the interpolation of these axes
Stall torque: A = 470 Nm (1400 max) C = 480 Nm (1450 max)
Locking torque (brakes): A = 1800 Nm C = 1800 Nm

Nr. 01 Tool magazine:
Consisting of a tool change magazine with a 12-position rack placed at the back of the base, with pneumatic disengagement.
Or as an alternative
A tool change magazine with a 24-position disc located on the side of the structure with automatic opening protection door.
The workpiece-holder table is an integral part of the machine base, featuring an electro-welded reticular structure and a steel worktop. The worktop features the 22mm T-slots (in the size suitable for the sliding movement of M20 lugs) with a 250mm centre distance and parallel to the “Y” axis.
HEIDENHAIN NUMERICAL CONTROL MOD. iTNC530 HSCI:
With HR410 PORTABLE KEYPAD with electronic handwheel, 3-metre coiled cable or 10-metre non-coiled cable.
Or as an alternative:
SIEMENS NUMERICAL CONTROL mod. 840D sl:
With SINUMERIK HT2 portable terminal
The HP26 machining centre is the most compact in the series.
The structure, which integrates the side shoulders to the base, allows for great stability and repeatability of precision and quality machining, even with considerable stress.
The structure with a moving crossbeam running on two side shoulders and total perimeter enclosure with front sliding doors allows for easy access to load/unload the workpiece and maximum safety for the operator.
HP26 is excellent for high speed milling on medium-sized composite or light alloy models and components.
